From its humble beginnings as a small dive centre located in River Valley Swimming Complex, ScubaPeople has grown from strength to strength over the past 12 years since its establishment. Situated in Chinatown, the heart of Singapore, ScubaPeople is now an SDI 5-star and PADI dive centre which currently has over 1,000 students. With a combined experience of 20 years of scuba diving, our instructors are certified to conduct dive courses under the PADI and SDI syllabuses. At ScubaPeople, we regard safety as our priority, having maintained a clean track record and ensuring that our divers enjoy the sport without undue risk, and also with minimal impact on the environment.
ScubaPeople is also the only dive centre which is authorised to promote packages in collaboration with Berjaya Resorts. As a professional partner, ScubaPeople works closely with organisations such as Raffles Country Club, Temasek Country Club as well as the Civil Service Club to conduct scuba diving courses.
We also advocate marine environmental conservation and awareness by conducting underwater clean-up operations under Project AWARE with our volunteer divers. Similar Project AWARE programmes were also conducted for corporate organisations such as Emerson Process Management, as part of our efforts to raise awareness of the environmental cause.
Apart from conducting scuba diving courses, ScubaPeople has established itself as a trusted brand and is now a licensed retailer for a wide variety of scuba equipment. We work in close collaboration with other operators and vendors within the industry to promote scuba diving in Singapore. In 2008, ScubaPeople merged with Juz Swim Pte Ltd to diversify our operations. This is in line with our long-term objective of promoting healthy living in a safe and conducive environment. A new entity, Agenta Fitness, is the latest addition to the Juz Swim family.
